JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary
PT. Collins Higgins Consulting is seeking a qualified and practiced Finance agent who will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Company. The function involves the accurate recording of day to day financial transactions, providing guidance to staff on the Company policies and guidelines in relation to financial activities and providing financial reports for management.
 
Main Job Tasks, tasks and Responsibilities
Finance :
   » Check and verify supporting documents for payment such as invoices, receipts, computer printouts
   » Check, verify and record all expense claims and reimbursements of staff
   » Prepare payment list with completed and valid information for general and commodity purchase payments
   » Maintain payment status and follow up process
   » Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable by providing an aged report for each supplier and customer
Accounting :
   » Validate and enter expenses report from Zoho to Quickbook with supporting document 
   » Enter bank transactions to Quickbook per weekly basis
   » Prepare monthly Depreciation and Prepaid journal as per Schedule of Depreciation
   » Reconcile and balance all accounts in the Balance Sheet and Profit Loss Report
   » Track and maintain inventory records and internal control systems
   » Record keeping and accounting of staff advance balances 
   » Comply with significant reporting requirements
   » continuing development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures in conjunction with Management and the external Accountant
Administration :
   » Maintain a complete filing system to support financial records such as expenses report, bank statement, invoices, etc
   » Maintain complete filing system for  tax payment and tax report per month, includes bukti potong, faktur pajak IN and OUT
   » Manage supporting document for commodity transaction such as purchase receipt, delivery receipt, etc  
Tax :
   » Determine tax article and rate applied located on update tax regulation to each transaction
   » Record appropriate journal entries for  tax payable and tax expenses
   » Prepare the worksheet for tax payment and reporting each month (earnings tax and VAT)
 
Others :
   » Manage transactions and paperwork relating to commodity purchasing
   » Assist with the training of field staff in the correct financial procedures of the Company
   » Assist with budget preparation and audits (where required)
   » Suggest any improvements to Company procedures, policies, guidelines and SOPs in the finance area
Confidentiality and ethics/integrity are two key elements of this function.
 
Qualifications, expertise, practice
   » Undergraduate (S1) qualifications in accounting or finance.
   » Minimum of three years practice in a similar function
   » Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
   » Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures
   » Knowledge of significant legislation and regulatory requirements
   » Working knowledge of significant computer applications
   » Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
   » An knowledge of Indonesian tax and banking requirements
   » capability to (or a availability to learn) communicate in English is desirable

This position will work within the Company’s Business Administration team, which reports to the Company Chief Operating agent. 
   » Line management will be from the Company’s Finance Manager
   » A collaborative working relationship will be required with the Company’s Head Office Manager/HR Manager
