JOB DESCRIPTIONOperations adjunctCommencing in 2020, PT. CHC is sourcing cinnamon commercially for its client, McCormick Global Ingredients Ltd. (MGIL), working closely with MGIL’s local processing and export partner (PT. STS). The key function of the Operations adjunct is to accurately capture cinnamon receival data during unloading at STS and sampling, sorting and grading post receival. The Operations adjunct will also be responsible for supporting the Padang office with some administrative tasks. The specific functions of the position include: Preparation » Master the digital app/spreadsheet for data collection and understand the importance of timely data capture. » Understand the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receivals, sorting and grading. Receivals and Data Collection - CHC purchases » Assist the Operations Manager to monitor the receival, sorting, and grading of cinnamon at the STS facility and confirm all SOPs and Guidelines are followed. Notify Operations Manager of any breaches of SOP/Guideline. » Seek out any data from STS to complete data capture tasks. » Enter receival data into CommCare on the day of arrival. » Enter sorting and grading data into CommCare on the day of sorting/grading. » Enter VO lab test results into CommCare within 1 business day of testing. Administration » Support the Padang operations team by facilitating operational expenditure (via cash advance process) and submission of corresponding receipts. » Support the Padang Operations Manager in day to day administrative tasks. » Assist the Company Finance Manager with any questions or clarification on expenditure and receipts. » Complete equipment registers for Padang locations as Head Office requests.
