JOB DESCRIPTION» Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.» Required language(s): English » At least 7 Year(s) of working practice in the related field is required for this position. » Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office » Preferably Manager/adjunct Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent. General Description The Site Manager is responsible for general supervision of all phases of plant operations including: production, quality control, maintenance, receiving, and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring and training personnel and facility/physical plant up-keep and capital improvements. In addition the Site Manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. They will work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitcapability within the manufacturing operation. This person must be trained and have at least 7 years of practice including best practices in both managerial and production platforms. Job Responsibilities : » Provide leadership abilities for the prosperous day-to-day operation of the facility. » Work closely with quality personnel to review product consistency while monitoring scrap rates to determine trends and areas of improvement. » Review established production schedules for all manufacturing departments to insure established inventory levels are met while operating at the highest efficiency possible. » Coordinate the hiring and training of all manufacturing personnel. » Monitor operation expenses and research ways to reduce costs while maintaining product quality. » Work closely with the Environmental Health and Safety Departement to ensure all members of the manufacturing team are aware of safety policies to provide a safe workplace for our employees. » Maintain Inventory levels and control flow of product » Maintain and support a superior safety and housekeeping program, including all timely communication initiatives. » Develop and execute the plant manufacturing budgets. » Analyse workforce requirements. » Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and guidance to all operations employees. » Encourage and promote operating in a continuous improvement environment. » Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals. » Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiencies and enhance productivity. » Communicate with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new product strategies. » Work with purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relationships. » Create purchase orders for Purchasing Manager to place orders. » Coordinate the relationship with our union workforce force and negotiate union contracts as needed. » Maintain security system and access readers Job Persyaratan: 7+ years progressive practice in a key leadership abilities/management function at a manufacturing facility. Previous practice/strong knowledge of budgeting/expense management with a basic knowledge of financial and accounting practices. Strong computer expertise including the capability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyse data and trends. Previous practice/best practices implementing and using continuous improvement/lean tools such as; Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc. to drive improvement. Previous practice/broad knowledge of safety systems and enforcement of safety rules and policies. Demonstrated strong leadership abilities, team building and advanced coaching expertise. Demonstrated capability to motivate people, assess and develop employee expertise. Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and applications connected with manufacturing operations, maintenance and engineering. Excellent planning and organizational expertise, with the capability to balance production and maintenance needs. Excellent interpersonal communication and listening capability. A strong capability to be adaptable and flexible. Strong analytical and decision-making expertise. capability to work with teams and lead decision-making processes in a team environment. Highly motivated, results oriented, driven. Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering from reputable university. expertise : Being assertive. Evening and weekend hours can be expected around deadlines.
