JOB DESCRIPTION

 
   » Monitor day to day operational issues to assist in the development and completion of schedules to achieve forecast targets
   » Develop and review design concepts to ensure safe, achievable mining practices
   » Review and improve current processes to expand the mined resource
   » Take a leading function in risk assessment and safety management plan development
   » Plan and coordinate the design and management of capital projects and mining studies
   » Scope and develop mining contracts and monitor the work of contractors involved in mining operations  
   » Acting as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Director, and Engineering manager on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/ projects
   » Directing and Mentoring Senior and Junior Engineers
   » Leading, managing and directing technical and engineering execution of mining projects
   » Providing input into Business Development strategy an maintain/ expand professional network
   » Provide services to other opportunistic clients (non-core pursuits)
